Every time I read something on a blog about Apple, it’s always from someone with apparent links to ‘a source close to Apple’ or an Apple ‘Insider’.

All I can say is that there must be a hell of a lot of people with friends who not only work for Apple, but who all work in the specific departments that know all about whats going on.

It’s really, realy difficult to take such news with anything other than a pinch of salt. We never know who’s telling the truth and giving reliable information, or who is spinning porkies.

That said, I do hope it’s true – as do loads of us. But I’ll never, not ever, rely upon Apple doing something that’s actually for us, the consumers. They are too wrapped up in their own form of self-importance and control freakery.

And it realy pisses me off – big time – that I’m at their mercy when it comes to actually doing useful stuff with MY equipment that I’ve bought and paid for outright.

I wish Spotify luck. I’ll be right there with them on the premium service if they’ve managed to get this through.
